Dabell.ORGSome Dabell History
I have spent some time over the last several years scouring the Internet to attempt to link my family tree to the Dabells of England. My Grandfather, Stanley Dabell, came to London, Ontario, Canada in (I assume) the early 1900's.
Stanley Herbert Dabell <Sep 1878> was one of 7 offspring of George Mudie Dabell<1843> and wife Mary Ann (Hockin) Dabell<1843>.
Brothers were Percy George<Dec 1874> and Frederick Hockin <Mar 1877>, Sisters were
Bertha Mary <Dec 1872>, Ethelyn <Dec 1875> Beatrice <1882>, and Nora <1883>.
I would love to hear from anyone with any supporting or additional information or documentation In the course of my perusing the web I have come across various other Dabell's and Dabell relations, some of which are linked to below. If you know of any other links, again, please let me know. Dabell's Porter House and Slab Seal BottlesI have had many e-mail conversations with Ian Whittaker about the Dabell's. He is a bottle collector neat Nottingham and is proud of his collection of rare Dabell Slab Seal Bottles. He has been a wealth of information about the Dabell's and I owe him a lot of thanks.
